Founded by education and community activist and philanthropist, Tara Guber, Breakthrough LA (BTLA) is a non-profit, “umbrella” entity that includes a portfolio of programs that represent Tara’s personal interests that are holistic, innovative, complementary and coordinated for the greater Los Angeles community. Content themes for BTLA programs include: Voice & Agency; Identity & Personal Empowerment, Yoga & Mindfulness, Health & Wellness, Food & Nutrition Education.

My Voice Matters (MVM) activates and supports student Voice and Agency through student- based inquiry using the tools of journalism, experiential learning, media, creative writing, storytelling, presentation and publication.

Central Station SLA convenes and delivers a scope of much needed Health, Fitness, Sports and Wellness services for young people and families in a community based, “safe harbor” destination in South Los Angeles

Founded by Tara Guber, and now owned and operated by Brynne Caleda, Yoga Ed is the most successful yoga in schools program in the US. In 2018, Yoga Ed successfully transitioned its business model from fee for service to distance learning / digital content subscription.

These private invitation, intimate evenings showcase The philosophy and works of leading health wellness pioneers, masters of a variety of yoga practices and personal growth and peak performance experts.
